The Doors' final tour, known as the Roadhouse Blues Tour, supporting Morrison Hotel (released February 1970). The tour opened with four shows at New York's Felt Forum (January 17-18, later released as Live in New York). The Isle of Wight Festival on August 30 was the band's final European appearance and last fully filmed concert. Morrison's last concert was December 12 at The Warehouse in New Orleans, where he broke down mid-set. The Dallas State Fair Music Hall shows on December 11 were the last complete concerts The Doors ever played. Morrison died in Paris on July 3, 1971.
