The Doors 1969 Tour

Jan 24, 1969 — Oct 04, 1969
The Doors Headliner

A pivotal year defined by the infamous Miami concert on March 1 at the Dinner Key Auditorium, where Jim Morrison was charged with indecent exposure and lewd behavior. The fallout caused dozens of show cancellations across the planned Soft Parade spring tour. The band gradually resumed live performances in the summer, including a run at the Aquarius Theatre in Hollywood on July 21 (recorded for a planned live album) and shows in Chicago, Mexico City, and Canadian dates. Morrison's trial would not take place until August 1970.
