U2's Zoo TV Tour comprised five legs and 157 shows, supporting their 1991 album Achtung Baby and 1993 album Zooropa. The tour began on 29 February 1992 in Lakeland, Florida and ended on 10 December 1993 in Tokyo, Japan. Featuring an elaborate multimedia stage production with dozens of video screens, satellite link-ups, and Bono's alter egos The Fly and MacPhisto, Zoo TV was the highest-grossing North American tour of 1992. Overall it grossed US$151 million from 5.3 million tickets sold.
