Foo Fighters' biggest-ever North American tour in support of their eighth studio album Sonic Highways, which doubled as the soundtrack to Grohl's HBO documentary series of the same name. The tour featured the band's first headlining stadium shows in the US, including Citi Field in New York, Fenway Park in Boston, and Wrigley Field in Chicago. The July 4th show at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. celebrated the band's 20th anniversary. Support came from Royal Blood and Mission of Burma.
