Radiohead's world tour in support of In Rainbows, their seventh studio album initially released as a pay-what-you-want download in October 2007. The tour ran from May 2008 through March 2009, covering North America, Europe, South America, and Japan. Radiohead played amphitheatres and outdoor venues to reduce carbon emissions, based on recommendations from environmental group Best Foot Forward.
