English power electronics project from London, formed 1980. William Bennett (now Cut Hands). Birthdeath Experience (1980), Great White Death (1985), Bird Seed (2003). Invented 'power electronics' — extreme volume, confrontational lyrics, synthesizer abuse. Bennett now makes Afro-electronic music as Cut Hands. Controversial but hugely influential.
