Tuareg rock band from Tessalit, Mali, formed in 1979. Revolving lineup of Tuareg musicians led by Ibrahim Ag Alhabib and Abdallah Ag Alhousseyni. Pioneers of 'desert blues' blending Saharan music with electric rock. Grammy winners for Tassili (2012). Albums include Amassakoul, Aman Iman, and Amatssou.
