English ska/2 Tone band from Coventry, formed in 1977. Terry Hall (vocals, d. 2022), Jerry Dammers (keys), Lynval Golding (guitar), Neville Staple (vocals), plus others. Founded the 2 Tone movement — multiracial ska revival with punk energy and social commentary. 'Ghost Town' is one of the greatest UK singles.
