Sigur Rós

Icelandic post-rock band from Reykjavik, formed in 1994. Jónsi (vocals/guitar/bow), Georg Hólm (bass), Orri Páll Dýrason (drums, left 2018). Known for ethereal, atmospheric post-rock sung partly in Icelandic and partly in 'Hopelandic' (a made-up language). Albums include Ágætis byrjun, ( ), Takk..., and Átta.
