English shoegaze band from Oxford, formed in 1988. Andy Bell, Mark Gardener, Laurence Colbert, Steve Queralt. Nowhere (1990) and Going Blank Again (1992) are shoegaze cornerstones. Reformed in 2014 for successful reunion tours and Weather Diaries (2017).
