Raymond Scott

American composer/inventor from Brooklyn (1908-1994). Harry Warnow. 'Powerhouse,' 'Dinner Music for a Pack of Hungry Cannibals' — his 1930s compositions became the sound of Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons. Also invented early electronic instruments and the Electronium (early sequencer). Bridged jazz, pop, and electronic music.
