English singer-songwriter from Bridport, Dorset, born Polly Jean Harvey. Known for raw, shape-shifting art rock and one of the great rock voices. Only artist to win Mercury Prize twice (Stories from the City and Let England Shake). Albums include Rid of Me, To Bring You My Love, and I Inside the Old Year Dying.
