Jamaican reggae musician from Grange Hill, Westmoreland (1944–1987). Co-founder of The Wailers with Bob Marley. Powerful solo career advocating for marijuana legalization and Pan-Africanism. Equal Rights, Legalize It, Bush Doctor. Militant, uncompromising voice of reggae. Murdered in 1987.
