My Morning Jacket

American rock band formed in Louisville, Kentucky, in 1998 by singer-songwriter Jim James. The band's sound blends rock, alt-country, folk, psychedelic, and experimental elements with reverb-heavy production and expansive live performances. Members include Jim James (vocals/guitar), Tom Blankenship (bass), Patrick Hallahan (drums), Carl Broemel (guitar), and Bo Koster (keyboards). The band's breakthrough came with It Still Moves (2003) and Z (2005), both critically acclaimed. The Waterfall (2015) earned a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Album. Known for marathon concert performances and a devoted fanbase, the band hosts the annual One Big Holiday destination festival.
