Mohammad Reza Shajarian

Iranian classical singer from Mashhad (1940-2020). The greatest classical Persian vocalist of the 20th century. Master of the radif (Persian classical repertoire). 'Morgh-e Sahar,' 'Rabana.' Collaborated with Parviz Meshkatian and Hossein Alizadeh. Protested the government in 2009. Iran mourned him as a national treasure.
