British-American rapper and producer from London, raised in Long Island, New York (1971–2020), born Daniel Dumile. Known for the metal mask, dense wordplay, and off-kilter production. One of the most revered underground MCs. Albums include Operation: Doomsday, Mm..Food, and Madvillainy (with Madlib).
