American heavy metal band from Oakland, California, formed in 1998. Matt Pike (vocals/guitar), Jeff Matz (bass), Coady Willis (drums). Known for crushing stoner/sludge metal. Matt Pike also fronts Sleep. Albums include Blessed Black Wings, Death Is This Communion, and Cometh the Storm.
