American techno DJ/producer from Detroit, born 1962. One of the original 'Belleville Three' associates — grew up with Juan Atkins, Derrick May, and Kevin Saunderson. 'Goodbye Kiss' (1986). Sometimes called 'the fourth member' of Detroit techno's founding generation. Still performing worldwide. Detroit techno's unsung founding father.
