Scottish dream pop band from Grangemouth, formed in 1979. Elizabeth Fraser (vocals), Robin Guthrie (guitar), Simon Raymonde (bass). Pioneered dream pop and ethereal wave. Fraser's glossolalic vocals and Guthrie's shimmering guitar created otherworldly soundscapes. Heaven or Las Vegas is their masterwork.
