American emo band from Chicago, active 1989-1995. Tim and Mike Kinsella (later of Joan of Arc, American Football, Owen, Owls). Burritos, Inspiration Point, Fork Balloon Sports... (1995). Chaotic, joyful, foundational Midwest emo. Reformed for reunion shows in 2010. Hugely influential.
