American indie rock band from Omaha, Nebraska, formed in 1995. Conor Oberst (vocals/guitar), Mike Mogis (guitar/production), Nate Walcott (keys/trumpet). Known for emotionally raw, literate songwriting. Albums include Fevers and Mirrors, Lifted, I'm Wide Awake It's Morning, and Five Dice All Threes.
