American punk rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 1980. Greg Graffin (vocals) and Brett Gurewitz (guitar). Foundational melodic hardcore/punk band. Over 17 albums including Suffer, No Control, Recipe for Hate, Stranger than Fiction, and Age of Unreason. Gurewitz founded Epitaph Records.
